Renewal by Andersen, the extremely high growth direct-to-consumer replacement window subsidiary organization of Andersen Corporation, has experienced explosive growth and maturation over the last decade as it has become the largest vertically integrated remodeling company in its category. In 2021, Renewal by Andersen generated well over $3.5 Billion in gross sales across its network of 100+ field locations throughout the United States and Canada. The construct of that vast network includes several independent Renewal by Andersen affiliate owners, who exclusively market, sell, install, and service Renewal by Andersen products under the signature Renewal by Andersen brand. One of the largest Renewal by Andersen independent affiliate owners in the country is Moore Holdings, which owns and operates 8 major Renewal by Andersen markets across the US generating roughly $700M in annual revenue and employing over 2,000 people.  Across the entire Renewal by Andersen network, one of the individual markets most ripe for massive growth and expansion is Renewal by Andersen of Greater Toronto. Headquartered in Mississauga, and covering a vast greater Toronto territory, RbA of GTA is expected to generate nearly $40M in revenue by the end of this year. While this is healthy production, the market insights and demographics tell us that RbA of GTA could be a $100M+ business in the next few years with the right leadership in place.  Moore Holdings' executive team is seeking a seasoned, senior level executive leader to assume the role of President of this $40M Renewal by Andersen business and drive its growth to well over $100M in the coming years, with the potential for expansion into other Canadian markets over the longer term.

Renewal by Andersen is the full service, direct-to-consumer window replacement division of Andersen Corporation, North America's largest and most reputable window and door manufacturer and brand. Renewal is the fastest-growing division of Andersen Corporation, with 20%+ year-over-year growth over nearly the last decade.

History

Andersen Corporation was founded in 1903 along the Saint Croix River in Minnesota by Hans Andersen and his family. In the mid 1990's, having established itself as a top brand in its category, Andersen saw an opportunity to introduce a custom replacement window division. Renewal by Andersen was born of this decision over 25 years ago as the vertically integrated, full-service, direct-to-consumer “replacement window” division of Andersen and has since grown tremendously, driving major bottom-line performance and extensive innovation across Andersen's enterprise.

Renewal by Andersen, backed by one of the largest and most prominent voices in the greater building materials industry today, is now truly known as a benchmark in the overarching direct-to-consumer space across the US and into Canada given its increasingly innovative approach to, and major investments in, traditional, non-traditional, and digital marketing, its uncompromising devotion to creating unforgettable end-to-end Customer Experiences, and perhaps most importantly, its dedication to technology disruption. It drives nearly $4 Billion in gross sales across its 100+ branches in the US and into Canada. Most exciting is the fact that, while Renewal's top and bottom line performance is incredibly impressive, it is still relatively early in its evolution as an organization with immense marketshare and growth opportunities in front of it. Renewal of Toronto in particular, owned by David Moore/Moore Holdings, is prepared for massive growth. The business is up 60% this year, projecting nearly $40M in revenues, and has the very realistic potential to double in size in the next few years under the right leadership.

David Moore

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER / OWNER (DIRECT MANAGER)

With an MBA from Harvard University, David Moore has experienced a colorful and highly successful career as an investor, owner, board member, and senior executive of several businesses over 30 years. David is an extremely passionate, high-energy, aspirational executive who sets high expectations while acting as a true partner and servant leader to his executive team and market leaders. David grew up in the remodeling industry purchasing his family's business - Garden State Brickface - and growing the business to one of the largest integrated remodeling companies in the US with over 500 employees. He went on to assume the CEO spot at Register.com, and stayed on as a Board Member after its exit. Today, David's core focus and attention is on the 8 major Renewal by Andersen markets he owns and operates as CEO of Moore Holdings, while peripheral activities include a board seat with Atlanta-based Spanx, minority ownership of the Atlanta Hawks NBA team, and additional board seats with other notable firms in the US. He is also an extremely dedicated philanthropist leading several high-profile charities outside of his daily work. David has been married to his wife for 33 years, and has two children who are not involved in the family business.

Roni Jacobson

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

As a graduate of Cardozo School of Law, Roni Jacobson started her career as a practicing attorney with Loeb & Loeb, one of the most prestigious law firms in New York. She went on to experience a very successful run as a senior executive of Register.com, where she met David Moore and established a life-long professional bond as his direct report. She shifted away from her core General Counsel work, and moved into business operations executive leadership successfully leading the company through two exits during her ~11 year tenure. David Moore immediately recruited Roni as COO of Moore Holdings/Renewal by Andersen in 2010, where she remains an integral component to the success and immense growth of the organization. Roni works hand-in-hand with market leadership, setting high expectations while partnering to provide support and guidance wherever necessary. She is highly analytical and data-driven, but has emphasized relationship building as a core tenant to her leadership style.

A Day in the Life

As a full P&L owner, Renewal by Andersen's next President in Toronto will guide the complex, fast-paced, vertically integrated environment of a major market operation. Currently, this market is generating upwards of $40M in annual revenues with a healthy bottom line and maintains one of the top Customer Satisfaction scores across all of Renewal's network. The President will fuel the next stage of evolution and growth of this business, with a highly realistic and feasible opportunity to grow the organization to well over $100M in the next 3-4 years. The President will be actively involved in hiring, leading, coaching, and developing other functional leaders, including several senior Sales Managers who lead teams of highly commissioned in-home sellers, several Production Managers who lead large installation crews of skilled craftspeople, Marketing leaders who run high-performance retail and events marketing initiatives, a seasoned Head of Operations who leads all back-end business operations, a Finance leader, an HR leader, and others. With a hyper-focus on people, this senior leader will direct their attention to designing and encouraging an extremely healthy culture of inspired, motivated, cared-for, and recognized professionals. They will also drive the major growth and development of the sales team, which currently consists of about 15 reps and will grow tremendously over the next couple of years as marketing and lead flow are at an all-time high. As Andersen Corporation makes a major push for total brand expansion across North America, the Canadian market is a strong strategic target that remains relatively "untapped", allowing for potential market expansion opportunities as success is demonstrated by this leader and their team.

  • Manage other functional leaders, provide strong leadership, coach others for success, design healthy culture, and foster teamwork in a very fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Drive growth and expansion of the Greater Toronto market for Renewal by Andersen product and service offerings leveraging Renewal programs in ongoing business operations
  • Implement strategies to meet agreed-upon business goals; manage operations to achieve profit and gross margin objectives – full P&L ownership.
  • Design and maintain healthy, positive culture across a robust team of people across marketing, sales, operations, installation, HR, finance, etc.

  • Construction industry and/or B2C industry experience not required, but may be helpful
  • Demonstrated skills in managing a full P&L
